The Lamborghini Urus Performante Is The Super SUV To Beat
Lamborghini is once again raising the bar for super SUVs with their newest Urus Performante
When Lamborghini first introduced their performance SUV, the Urus, it turned heads not only for it’s good looks but also because of how wicked quick it was, in fact, it was the fastest SUV in the world at the time.
Now Lamborghini is once again giving us the fastest Super SUV with the announcement of the Lamborghini Urus Performante, proving that the only brand capable of beating Lamborghini, is Lamborghini.
Moreover, the new Lamborghini Urus Performante is not just fast, Lamborghini says it sets the benchmark for ‘fun to drive’ performance in Super SUVs as this super SUV is formidable on the streets, track and loose surfaces alike, making it a beast no matter the terrain.
Right from the get to, the Lamborghini Urus Performante establishes itself with it’s powerful yet sophisticated styling and bold stance, while it is an SUV, it is also undoubtedly a Lamborghini, so one does not need to see what lies beneath to know the superb engineering and power this beast has.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante is also lower, wider and lighter than before and all this helped this car set a new record in the production SUV category on the Pikes Peak international Hill Climb Road, completing the 4,302 meter road (14,115 feet, for those allergic to the metric system), in 10:32:064, beating the Bentley Bentayga.
On top of that, the extensive use of carbon fiber means the Lamborghini Urus Performante is 47kg lighter and with the power in the 4.0 litre V8 powering this car increasing by 16hp this car has 666hp and makes 850Nm of torque which gives it a century sprint time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 306km/h.
