Beginner 4WD Course For Ford Ranger Owners On 19 March 2023
For those itchy to learn some off-roading skills on their Ford Ranger, this is for you!
If you’re a Ford Ranger owner looking to master your vehicle’s full potential, mark your calendar for March 19, 2023, to attend the Ford Ranger Getaways M4TREC Beginner 4WD Course in Semenyih, Selangor. This event, organised by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion, the sole distributor of Ford in Malaysia, is a fantastic opportunity for beginners to experience the adrenaline rush of off-road driving in a safe and controlled environment.
The training course is conducted by M4TREC’s team of HRDF-certified professional instructors, who are also expert off-roaders. Participants will learn and practice basic techniques for tackling obstacle courses such as Dirt Track, Roller Ramp, Frame Twister, Ridge Crossing / Slide Slope, Mud & Ruts, Rutted Track, Ditch, Hill Descend, Hill Ascend, and Mud Dash.
The half-day course begins with a briefing and a vehicle walkaround to familiarise participants with the Ranger’s features before the hands-on driving experience on the obstacle course. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the training session.
The course is priced at RM992.89 per person, with a maximum of two participants per vehicle. Ranger owners who sign up for the course are welcome to bring along a companion. Next-Generation Ranger owners, for whom this is their first Ford Ranger Getaways, can enjoy a 30% discount with their Inner Circle privilege card code.
In addition to the Beginner 4WD Course, Ford Ranger Getaways offers a range of interest categories, covering short local adventures for Ranger and Raptor owners, whether on their own, with family and friends, or with other like-minded people. Each getaway is thoughtfully curated to showcase the diversity of the Ford Ranger lifestyle, from fun city outings and outdoor or off-road excursions to foodie trails and even being a pilot for a day by flying a plane over Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC).
