Tesla Malaysia Delivered First Model 3 And Opened Its Cyberjaya Service Centre

Tesla Malaysia managed both these milestone achievements on 29 November 2023

American electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, Tesla, has officially begun deliveries of its best-selling electric sedan, the Model 3 in Malaysia today. Customers took delivery of their Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range at Tesla’s newly opened Cyberjaya centre with more deliveries coming.

Refined with an updated exterior styling, optimised for better aerodynamics and a new interior design, the Tesla Model 3 comes with more range, a noticeably quieter ride and more features without compromising its thrilling performance. This along with the Cyberjaya centre opening marks two milestone moments for the brand.

Moreover, with deliveries of the Tesla Model 3 beginning in Malaysia, it marks a critical step in the brand’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy in the country, especially in Malaysia and is a good indication that the brand is serious about doing business here and is likely here to stay.

With V3 Supercharging, the Model 3 can charge up to 282km in just 15 minutes providing a seamless charging experience to all Tesla owners. The brand’s Cyberjaya Service Centre located at Persiaran APEC, Cyber 6 also opened yesterday and this means that the brand is now even more accessible to more Malaysians.

The centre also covers an area of around 22,000 square feet and provides one-stop service experience to Tesla owners, alongside with the support of Over-the-air (OTA) remote diagnosis, 24/7 owner hotline while owners can make appointments through the Tesla mobile app with a touch according to their personal schedule.

On top of that, Tesla Malaysia also launches Premium Connectivity, which will further enhance the driving experience providing access to features that require data usage, including streaming music and media, live traffic visualization and more. Premium Connectivity will be available via a monthly subscription of RM35.99 per month.

Tesla owners are also invited to join the official Tesla Owners Club Malaysia to enjoy privileges from various Tesla partners. Partners can in turn tap into the fast-growing Tesla community.
