Honda City Hatchback Facelift Launched In Malaysia
The Honda City Hatchback facelift brings more value for money and equipment with a small price bump.
Honda Malaysia today launched the facelifted City Hatchback with enhancements and value-added at every trim level. Most of the changes to the City Hatchback are reflective of the enhancements made to the City sedan facelift and we also see a new RS petrol variant being added to the range. The cars are very slightly longer in this facelift and this is down to the new bumper designs.
The City Hatchback is available in petrol or hybrid form, with no changes to the powertrain from the pre-facelift model. The ‘e:HEV‘ hybrid system allows the wheels of the City Hatchback to be driven either by a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine or an electric motor. The e:HEV model has a total system output of 109PS and 253Nm of torque. The petrol model gets a different 1.5L DOHC motor and a total system output of 121PS and 145Nm torque.
There are 5 variants on offer and the highlight for the facelift is that Honda Sensing is now standard across the range. We also get Honda Connect on the RS models as standard and this is a cost option on the other models.
Design changes include a new honeycomb front grille, LED front fog light garnish, and a new rear bumper lower garnish. There are also new Berlina Black 16″ alloy wheels and new Side Sill Garnish for both RS models.

Petrol models are available in Ignite Red Metallic, Platinum White Peal, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Lunar Silver Metallic. The last of these colour options is not available on the hybrid model.
The Honda City Hybrid has sold more 28,700 units since its launch in 2021.
