A tragic accident occurred earlier today when a driver of a Proton Wira aeroback lost his life following a failed overtaking attempt that resulted in a fatal collision with a trailer. The incident took place on a twin-lane highway, where the driver was reportedly trying to cut ahead of slower traffic but misjudged the timing and distance.
According to preliminary reports from the traffic authorities, the Proton driver was traveling in the right lane when the driver attempted to overtake a vehicle in front. However, in the process, the car collided directly with a trailer that was occupying the left lane. The impact was severe, crushing the front section of the Proton and leaving the driver trapped inside the vehicle.
Moreover, emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene after receiving distress calls from other motorists. Despite their efforts, the driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
