The Aston Martin Vantage S has more power than the original.
The Aston Martin Vantage S has been shown with more power and improved suspension tuning over the original model. For now this will be the most performance-oriented Vantage, but it’ll only be a matter of time before an even faster one comes along.

What’s New on the Aston Martin Vantage S?
The first place to look for upgrades is under the hood. Here, the AMG-sourced 4.0L V8 twin turbo engine has been uprated to 680PS and 800Nm of torque. To go along with the new figures, Aston Martin has refined and calibrated the drive-by-wire throttle pedal weight and response. While the 0-100km/h time has gone down to 3.4 seconds with an improved Launch Control system, the top speed is unchanged at 325km/h, which is plenty fast enough.

The suspension has been reworked completely and now features new hardware, including re-calibrated Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers and revised control software. Engineers also reduced rear spring aid stiffness to improve low-speed comfort, and the transmission mount stiffness has been reduced by 10% to enhance refinement. Additionally, the rear subframe is now directly mounted to the body, improving steering response and cornering feedback.

To complement the chassis changes, the suspension geometry—including camber, toe, and caster—has been meticulously adjusted to increase front-end grip, especially under high lateral loads. The result is sharper turn-in and better balance through corners, delivering a more engaging drive.

Aerodynamic Enhancements and Design Tweaks
Visually, the Vantage S gets a number of functional design upgrades. At the front, centrally mounted bonnet blades finished in gloss black or carbon fibre help vent heat from the engine bay, giving the car a more aggressive look. Discreet brass-forged ‘S’ badging on the fenders and a bold full-width rear spoiler visually mark the Vantage S out from the standard model. The new spoiler also contributes to a total of 111kg of downforce at top speed, improving high-speed stability.

Underneath, changes to the front airdam and venturi vanes add 67kg of additional downforce, ensuring that the car grips confidently in fast corners.

Interior Detailing and Customisation
Inside, the Vantage S comes with a unique ‘Accelerate’ interior, featuring Alcantara® and leather, carbon fibre trim inlays, and embroidered ‘S’ logos crafted with over 2,500 stitches. Buyers can further personalise the cabin with options like anodised drive mode rotaries (in red or silver), colour-matched seatbelts, and the luxurious Inspire Sport interior package, which includes semi-aniline leather with chevron quilting.
