LEPAS automotive is a sub-brand of Chery Auto like Jetour and JAECOO
Positioned as a strategic pillar in Chery’s global expansion, LEPAS embodies the brand’s vision of “elegant mobility” aiming to transform the future of transportation through a fusion of cutting-edge intelligent technology and refined aesthetic design.
As part of Chery’s broader goal of “elevated positioning, enhanced value, and sustained market growth,” LEPAS is set to play a central role in the company’s next phase of global development.

Zhang Guibing, President of Chery International, announced that LEPAS will introduce five models over the next three years, beginning with the L8, a segment-defining SUV slated for launch in December 2025.
This will be followed by the L6, an urban model designed for metropolitan elites, and the L4, a stylish vehicle created with fashion-forward drivers in mind. To support its ambitious goals, LEPAS is targeting the establishment of 1,200 global sales outlets and aims to reach annual production and sales of 500,000 units, creating exciting new growth opportunities for global partners.

Meanwhile, are you confused or not at how Chery International will soon dominate our automotive landscape?
Well, the segment rivals are watching, not silently and wondering what will be their next move as Chery International is moving their ‘chess pieces’ around the RM101,000 to RM199,900 price segment.
Yes, they have more than a dozen SUV’s on the chessboard for 2024-2025 and about 4 Crossovers ready to take on the ‘queen’ and ‘king’!
Let’s make this simple. Here is a Chinese automotive giant that made a humble re-entry into Malaysia in June 2023 with an ultra stylish compact SUV, the OMODA 5. Official launch was a month later in early July 2023 at a selling price of just RM108,800.
