BMW Motorrad Malaysia Unveils the New BMW M 1000 RR Competition.
BMW Motorrad Malaysia has officially launched the New BMW M 1000 RR Competition, a motorsport-bred superbike engineered for dominance on both road and racetrack. With improved aerodynamics, enhanced engine performance, and cutting-edge rider aids, the new M icon sets a new benchmark for road-legal superbikes in Malaysia.
Motorsport DNA, Refined for the Road
The M 1000 RR Competition features a newly sculpted front fairing, revised windscreen, and updated carbon fibre M Winglets 3.0 capable of generating up to 30 kg of downforce at 300 km/h. These updates enhance cornering stability and reduce front-wheel lift, all while maintaining a blistering top speed of 314 km/h.
At its heart is a 999cc inline four-cylinder engine producing 160 kW (218 hp) at 14,500 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. The engine benefits from reworked cylinder heads, lightweight titanium valves, a larger 52 mm throttle valve, and a redesigned titanium exhaust system—all optimised for sharper throttle response and improved torque delivery. The superbike accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, combining razor-sharp dynamics with Euro 5+ emissions compliance.
Precision Engineering for Maximum Control
The M 1000 RR Competition debuts advanced rider technologies such as Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) with Slide Control, Brake Slide Assist, and Race ABS Pro with “Slick” mode for track use. Riders can customise settings with Riding Modes Pro, which includes three Race Pro modes for fine-tuning throttle response, traction control, engine braking, and wheelie control.
The M short-stroke throttle with a 58-degree rotation angle further improves responsiveness, while the re-engineered Flex Frame enhances chassis stiffness for better handling.

Offered exclusively in the M Competition variant, the bike comes equipped with:
- M Carbon Package (carbon fibre wheel covers, tank cover, airbox cover, and more)
- M Billet Pack (CNC-milled brake and clutch levers, footrests, and brake lever guard)

The BMW M 1000 RR Competition is priced at RM299,500 (on-the-road without insurance), inclusive of BMW Motorrad Malaysia’s 3-Year Warranty and 3-Year Roadside Assistance Programmes.
