The iCaur 03 electric off-roader has been launched in Malaysia and the pricing is quite attractive.
The highly anticipated iCaur 03 electric off-roader has officially made its debut in Malaysia, marking the brand’s entry into the local market. It will be available in two variants — the iCaur 03 2WD and the iCaur 03 iWD.

Two Variants for Malaysia
The entry-level iCaur 03 2WD is priced from RM119,800 while the more powerful iCaur 03 iWD starts from RM129,800. Both models offer competitive specifications designed to meet the growing demand for EVs in Malaysia. They fill a specific niche in Malaysia for customers looking for a rugged electric off-roader that doesn’t break the bank. The only other option in Malaysia currently is the all-electric G Wagon, which comes in at just under RM1 million.

The 2WD variant is powered by a rear-mounted 184 PS (181 hp or 135 kW) motor producing 220 Nm of torque. Its 65.69 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery delivers up to 426 km of NEDC-rated driving range (around 355 km on the WLTP cycle).

The flagship iWD variant features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, combining a 95 PS (70 kW) front motor with the same 184 PS rear motor. Together, they generate 279 PS (275 hp or 205 kW) and 385 Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 150 km/h. It is equipped with a 69.77 kWh LFP battery, offering 418 km of NEDC range (around 342 km WLTP).

Charging and Features
Both iCaur 03 variants support 80 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 30–80% charge in around 30 minutes. AC charging is supported at up to 6.6 kW, and owners also benefit from a 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) function for powering external devices.

Inside, the iCaur 03 comes equipped with a 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12-speaker Infinity audio system. Drivers also get the iRoad suite with six selectable drive modes and a Level 2.5 ADAS package, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and traffic jam assist.

The iCaur 03 also comes with a tonne of freebies thrown in if you book it by 17 September 2025, you get to enjoy 1 year of unlimited charging via the JomCharge network with AutoCharge functionality, and this includes authorised roaming partners. You also get an RM3,000 lifestyle package with vouchers from Starbucks, JD Sports, Sunway Lagoon, and Touch ‘n Go, plus a wallbox charger worth RM3,400. Bookings made after 17 September 2025 only nets you ‘discounted’ wallbox installed by EV Connection or Kineta with the price fixed at RM1,388, so you’re paying for it, but the price is standardised. Customers also get an iCare insurance programme coverage which extends to the wallbox and portable charging cables, plus unlimited towing services.
iCaur’s Expansion in Malaysia
The iCaur 03 is the first of three new models that the brand will introduce in Malaysia this year. Just a few weeks ago, Malaysia became the first country in the would to feature an independent iCaur showroom as the brand has operated as a sub-brand of Chery in other markets.
