The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross EV is based on the Renault Scénic E-Tech Electric and built in France.
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has revealed the all-new Eclipse Cross battery electric vehicle (BEV), set to launch sequentially across Europe before the end of 2025. Manufactured at Renault’s ElectriCity Douai Plant in France, the model represents Mitsubishi’s latest push into electrification under the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
Built for the EV Era
Based on the CMF-EV platform and designed exclusively as an electric SUV, the new Eclipse Cross combines bold styling, long range, and advanced digital features. Mitsubishi’s signature Dynamic Shield front fascia and “Smart Armor” design concept give the SUV a strong, refined presence, while a powerful electric powertrain promises an estimated 600 km WLTP range per charge.

Equipped with an 87 kWh battery, the Eclipse Cross BEV delivers up to 160 kW of output and 300 Nm of torque, offering smooth yet exhilarating acceleration. Regenerative braking with four selectable levels and a one-pedal driving function enhance both efficiency and driving comfort. Charging supports up to 22 kW AC and 150 kW DC fast charging, replenishing the battery quickly for daily commutes or weekend adventures.

Smart, Spacious, and Modern
The interior follows a “Sporty and Modern” design philosophy, with a spacious two-row, five-passenger layout. Premium details include diamond-pattern stitching, 48-colour ambient lighting, and a panoramic electrochromic glass roof that adjusts transparency at the touch of a button.

Tech integration is another highlight. A 12.3-inch vertical Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) with Google built-in brings Google Maps, Assistant, and Play directly into the cabin. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are standard, while the Harman Kardon sound system provides immersive audio. Drivers can also manage vehicle functions remotely via the Mitsubishi Motors app, with over-the-air (OTA) updates ensuring the system stays current.

Safety First
The Eclipse Cross EV features up to 20 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including MI-PILOT highway assistance, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and a suite of sensors and cameras for comprehensive monitoring. These systems deliver safety and peace of mind for urban and highway driving alike.

A Strategic Launch for Europe
The all-new Eclipse Cross is Mitsubishi’s latest OEM-supplied model from Renault, following the ASX and Colt. By expanding its EV lineup in Europe, Mitsubishi Motors reinforces its commitment to sustainability and innovation, providing customers with a robust, stylish, and highly capable compact electric SUV.

The Eclipse Cross BEV will be available in Europe before the end of 2025, with a medium-range variant planned for 2026.
