20,000KM Chery Super Hybrid Endurance Drive Concludes

The Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) Endless Horizons Global Endurance Drive has successfully concluded its multi-continental journey.

The final leg of the CSH Drive, which was first launched in April, began in Taiyuan, Shanxi, and culminated at Chery International’s headquarters in Wuhu. This timely conclusion precedes the highly anticipated 2025 Chery International User Summit.

Throughout the arduous expedition, CSH models — including the TIGGO 7 PHEV CSH, TIGGO 8 PHEV CSH, and TIGGO 9 PHEV CSH — conquered extreme conditions such as deserts, plateaus, and rainforests. This relentless testing campaign demonstrates Chery’s commitment to delivering seamless, reliable driving experiences worldwide.

The Grand Finale: A 1,400 km Cultural and Performance Test

The concluding leg saw participants from over 20 nations, including Greece, Thailand, Brazil, Kazakhstan, and notably Malaysia, driving more than 1,400km across China. The route was designed to weave a rich cultural tapestry across diverse and iconic terrains, ranging from winding mountain passes and peaceful country lanes to intercity expressways.

During the drive, participants directly experienced the CSH models’ latest innovations:

  • External Power Supply: Showcasing the practicality of the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology.
  • Intelligent Features: Testing the functionality of Automatic Parking Assist (APA).
  • Refinement: Experiencing the high level of Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) refinement engineered into the vehicles.

To ensure the integrity of the data gathered, each vehicle’s fuel tank was sealed before departure, with daily performance updates transparently shared on Chery International’s official social channels.

The successful completion of this year’s CSH Global Endurance Drive underscores Chery’s dedication to advancing hybrid technology that inspires confidence and is designed for global challenges. The CSH system is a key technological pillar, featuring a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), high thermal efficiency (46.5% on the engine), and components engineered for endurance in extreme climates, including an IP68-rated battery pack. Lepas was apparently also on a similar drive, but was not mentioned on the Chery press release.
