GWM Malaysia opens the order book for the NEW Ora Good Cat.
GWM Malaysia has announced that bookings are now open for the updated Ora Good Cat and the new, sporty Ora Good Cat GT, with prices starting from an estimated RM115,000. The new line-up continues the brand’s promise of an “Extra Good EV,” offering enhanced design, performance, and safety.
The Ora Good Cat first arrived in Malaysia in 2023, quickly establishing itself as a popular choice among urban adopters of fully electric hatchbacks from China, thanks to its retro-modern styling and practical long-range capability. The new models, now available for booking nationwide, aim to elevate the EV experience while making electrification more accessible.

The new Ora Good Cat offers refreshed styling and comfort upgrades, while the sporty Ora Good Cat GT delivers a more powerful performance.
New Ora Good Cat Key Specifications (Estimated Price Below RM115,000)
The standard model is powered by a 57.7 kWh SVOLT LFP battery, providing a range of up to 480 km (NEDC). It produces 143 PS and 210 Nm of torque. Charging is supported by 60kW DC charging, which can replenish the battery from 30% to 80% in approximately 38 minutes, and 6.6 kW AC charging. Interior features include a 10.25′′ infotainment screen and leatherette upholstery. It comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and a 360∘ camera.
New Ora Good Cat GT Key Specifications (Estimated Price Below RM125,000)
The new GT variant is a true performance model with a sportier appearance and increased power. It uses the same 57.7 kWh SVOLT LFP battery, achieving a slightly lower NEDC range of up to 460 km. Its motor output is significantly higher, rated at 171 PS and 250 Nm of torque.
The GT differentiates itself with a sporty front bumper, yellow brake calipers, a GT rear spoiler, and GT-exclusive alloy wheels. Inside, drivers will find GT sport seats with yellow stitching accents and suede leather. Crucially, the GT maintains the same advanced safety suite as the standard Good Cat, with the addition of Launch Control for exhilarating performance. Both models include Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and My GWM App support for connectivity.
