Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia has officially introduced the refreshed ORA Good Cat Ultra and the all-new, sportier ORA Good Cat GT.
The new Good Cat Ultra and Good Cat GT are now in Malaysia, bringing enhanced features and a distinctive new look to Malaysia’s popular electric hatchback segment. Priced competitively from RM109,800 for the Ultra and RM119,800 for the GT, GWM is reinforcing its commitment to making “fun, intelligent and accessible” electric mobility part of everyday Malaysian life.
Two Distinct Characters, Extra Good Value
The ORA Good Cat lineup is designed as the “Extra Good EV,” emphasizing style, performance, and safety. The refreshed model range aims to deliver true value that stands strong against any competitor in the rapidly expanding Malaysian EV market.
1. ORA Good Cat Ultra (from RM109,800): This variant focuses on elegant design and intuitive technology. It is powered by a 57.7 kWh SVOLT LFP battery offering up to 480 km (NEDC) range. The motor generates 143 PS and 210 Nm of torque.
2. ORA Good Cat GT (from RM119,800): Built for those seeking a sportier edge, the GT features exclusive enhancements to turn up the excitement. The performance-tuned motor delivers 171 PS and 250 Nm of torque, resulting in a slightly lower range of 460 km (NEDC) from the same 57.7 kWh SVOLT LFP battery. The GT boasts an aggressive bodykit, gloss black trim accents, 18-inch Sporty Black Alloy Wheels with Yellow Trim, and distinctive GT sport seats with yellow stitching.
Enhanced Features and Peace of Mind
Both the Ultra and GT variants share key technology and ownership benefits:
- Charging: Both models support 6.6kW AC charging and 60kW DC charging, allowing a quick recharge from 30% to 80% in approximately 38 minutes.
- Connectivity: The interior features a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, leatherette upholstery, and full connectivity with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, plus My GWM App support.
