The Honda Prelude Black Pack looks really good. Hopefully they bring it here along with the car itself.
Honda Malaysia is likely going to bring in the new Prelude Hybrid next year and it’s just come to our attention that a Black Pack option exists in the UK. Look at this special accessory and finish package. Doesn’t it completely elevate the Prelude? We think that it ought to be brought in as an option here too.

The Honda Prelude Black Pack is priced at GBP1,390 with a separate Illumination Pack for the interior available at GBP1,265. There aren’t too many parts included, but it’s enough to elevate the sporty look of the Prelude.

With the Black Pack, the following parts are finished in Berlina Black and dark chrome:
- a tailgate spoiler
- front bumper decorations
- emblem
- wheel center caps
- 19″ PR1901 wheels

Besides the Black Pack, Honda UK also sells optional blue+black floor mats with black nubuck backing and a metal Prelude logo for GBP145.

The Honda Prelude Hybrid is available in Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Moonlit White Pearl, and Racing Blue Pearl. Black is the only standard colour, all other options are a GBP 700 add-on. Powering this 2-door sports car is a 2.0L eHEV hybrid powertrain with 203PS on tap. Inside, you get a 9″ infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker BOSE audio system, and a wireless charging pad. You also get a 10.2″ digital driver display.

The Prelude returned to the Japanese market in early September 2025 and it is priced from 6.2 million yen. There, it got a Honda ON Limited Edition which included the aforementioned Moonlit White Pearl paint option but this time with a black painted roof and side mirrors. It looked a lot like the pre-production version of the Prelude in this scheme.

What do you think of the Honda Prelude and do you think the Black Pack should be introduced in Malaysia when the hybrid coupé is eventually brought into Malaysia?
