Define S is a concept that is ready for showroom sales
JAC Motors who Malaysians might know as a commercial truck and also electric pickup truck company is redefining its product offering with some very futuristic vehicles that will be in showrooms very soon.
Yes, they look like concepts and for today, called concepts, but it will be in showrooms ready for your ownership pithing a year. This means by 2026, you will see them being driven around by lucky Malaysians.
We start with the show-stopping super sedan. The Define S!

Define S is attention grabbing with its futuristic and sporty design and JAC Motors showcased its advanced smart electric vehicle technology last week in China.
It won a 2025 Red Dot Design Concept Award for its innovative design and intelligent features, including a low drag coefficient, high-performance electric motors, and an intelligent cockpit.
The Define S features a low, aerodynamic silhouette and a sleek, sporty design that won a Red Dot Design Concept Award.

The vehicle showcases JAC’s advanced “DEFINE” platform, which includes intelligent architecture, an intelligent chassis, and an intelligent cockpit with a 3D HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
In terms of performance, it is an electric coupe on a 1000V architecture. The vehicle utilizes a high-voltage platform, which enables faster charging capabilities and efficient power delivery. The powertrain is driven by three electric motors, designed to provide supercar-inspired performance.
It features durable, rapid-charging batteries designed to significantly alleviate range anxiety.

Intelligent Chassis System: The “All-Domain By-Wire Chassis” (ICDC) system offers precise control and functionality, including ultra-fast four-wheel vector response times of 100 milliseconds or less. The Define S is capable of supercar-like acceleration.
It boasts an impressive drag coefficient of 0.18Cd and a high space utilisation rate.
In terms of safety features, it includes advanced features like the FAEB (Forward-looking Active Emergency Brake) system. The cockpit interfaces with the vehicle’s sophisticated ADS 3.0 (Advanced Driving Systems) and ICDC full-area wire control intelligent chassis, supporting both human-driven and potential future unmanned operations with features like advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
The interior features a massive 50-inch panoramic, forward-mounted curved screen spans a large portion of the dashboard, providing the primary interface for driving information and media display. A secondary 15.6-inch central screen is positioned lower down, intended primarily for interactive functions such as climate control, navigation input, and app management. It also has a flexible cabin with rear seats that fold flat, creating a more spacious trunk.
In case you were wondering, JAC Motors is backed by two primary entities which is the Volkswagen Group and the Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Holdings (JAG).
Meanwhile, Huawei has a comprehensive strategic partnership with JAC Motors. This collaboration falls under the “Huawei Smart Selection” business model, involving deep cooperation on product definition, vehicle design, and the provision of intelligent systems and components. Their joint efforts have resulted in the creation of the high-end EV brand Maextro, which includes the luxury sedan S800 which www.dsf.my will be sharing more news very soon.
