Reimagined 911 For An Insane RM12 Million Before Import Duties

Singer Built Porsche 911 For Sale RM12 Million Before Taxes

Buying a Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer is considered the pinnacle of the “restomod” for 911 owners and couch car enthusiast.

This is an automotive world for those who value extreme attention to detail and a pure, analog driving experience.

Whether you would buy one typically depends on your budget and what you prioritize in a vehicle this rare.

With this insanely high asking price, the long waiting list to get a stock 911 into the Singer garage and the long waiting time to get the car rebuilt and delivered, this is a ‘game’ for the super wealthy who probably already have a fleet of super and hypercars and just want a ‘Singer 911’ for their collection.

In Malaysia we have (to our knowledge) 2 Singer 911 owners. One is a car collector with a collection sitting in Malaysia and also UK. The other (see video above) has a collection of Porsche’s (air-cooled and water cooled) and also a few track ready Porsche factory built cars.

Reasons to Buy. When you ready have every collectible supercar in your garage!

Singer builds are often described as “perfected” versions of the air-cooled 911m however, there are well known for being rather unreliable and ‘cranky’ when used daily.

They feature modern materials like full carbon-fiber body panels for lightness (around 2,100–3,000 lbs) paired with high-revving, bespoke 4.0L flat-six engines producing 390 to over 500 hp.

Every car is a unique commission. Owners choose everything from exterior paint to intricate interior details like woven leather seats and custom-calibrated gauges.

Reviewers and owners consistently highlight the car’s visceral, analog feedback. It uses a manual transmission and focuses on “feel over lap times,” often featuring specially tuned suspension (like Öhlins) for real-world roads.

While extremely expensive, they are highly sought-after. Used examples often appear at high-end auctions like RM Sotheby’s with price guides starting around USD2 million and reaching up to USD3 million or more for rare editions like the DLS.

Due to the 4,000+ man-hours required for each build, the waiting list can span several years.

Some enthusiasts argue that at USD2+ million, the car is “overpriced overkill” if your only goal is a great-driving analog car, which can be achieved for a fraction of the price through other 911 builds like Gunther, Techart and even RUF (watch video below).

How to get your very own Singer 911? Well, you need to contact Singer Vehicle Design to begin the personalization process for a new build. You must however provide a donor Porsche (Type 964).
