The Deepal S07 REEV is the first to get this Huawei integrated ADAS hardware in its price segment and is now on sale.
We’ve known since May 2026 that Changan was going to equip its mid-size SUV, the all-new Deepal S07 REEV with the latest suite of Huawei hardware and now that update officially goes on sale in China. Setting a new benchmark for accessible, high-tier self-driving technology, the updated vehicle line introduces three distinct product variants tailored for modern drivers: the 230 Max+, the 230 Ultra, and the 300 Ultra.

To mark the commercial rollout, Deepal has introduced an aggressive, limited-time promotional price spectrum ranging from RMB 154,900 (USD 22,500) at the entry point up to RMB 171,900 (USD 24,900) for the top-tier specification.

Huawei Qiankun Smart Driving Integration
The defining highlight of the refreshed S07 EREV is its premium driver assistance ecosystem. The model marks the industry’s very first integration of Huawei’s high-tier Qiankun hardware array within the highly competitive 150,000-yuan volume segment.

Instead of restricting these active safety functions to flagship configurations, the mid-size SUV comes standard across all three product versions with the advanced Huawei Qiankun ADS 4 Pro Enhanced edition. We know that many cars in China are getting Level 3 ADAS capable hardware, but what’s special with this system is the inclusion of LiDAR, which are said to be more accurate in more weather and lighting conditions than cameras. LiDAR sensors are known to be expensive and this Huawei Qiankun system’s ‘Perception Matrix’ comes equipped with 1 forward facing roof-mounted LiDAR alongside three 4D millieter wave radars, eleven high-definition cameras, and twelve ultrasonic proximity sensors.

Edge-Computing Navigation Performance
This extensive 27-sensor fusion network feeds real-time environmental data directly into localized edge-computing nodes. Operating with high computational efficiency, the smart driving matrix is engineered to safely resolve highly complex, unpredictable urban navigation tasks without driver intervention.

During public road operation, the system executes highly accurate traffic roundabout navigation, manages proactive yielding and path calculations during unprotected left turns, and provides automated speed modulation during narrow-lane vehicle bypasses.
