Track-Focused Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear

Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear: Track Weapon with Road-Legal Precision

Koenigsegg has unveiled the Sadair’s Spear, a track-focused evolution of the Jesko that pushes the boundaries of performance, aerodynamics, and power-to-weight mastery. With only 30 units produced—all sold out immediately—this limited-edition hypercar represents the next chapter in Koenigsegg’s relentless pursuit of automotive perfection.

Power and Precision in Perfect Harmony

At the heart of Sadair’s Spear lies Koenigsegg’s iconic twin-turbocharged V8, now recalibrated for greater efficiency and power.

Thanks to revised air intakes and improved cooling, the Spear outputs 1,300 hp on regular fuel and up to 1,625 hp on E85, all channeled through the revolutionary Light Speed Transmission (LST)—capable of 46,000 rpm/s for lightning-fast shifts.

Weight reduction remains central to its performance. Koenigsegg has shaved 35 kg from the Jesko’s already lean chassis, resulting in a power-to-weight ratio that surpasses the legendary One:1 benchmark—making Koenigsegg the only carmaker with fully road-legal vehicles exceeding the 1:1 ratio.

Masterclass in Aerodynamics

The Sadair’s Spear features an all-new top-mounted double-blade rear wing, enhanced front canards, and a longer rear section for increased downforce and stability. Reworked hood vents, wheel arch louvres, and a Gurney flap optimize cooling and aerodynamic performance at high speeds.

These improvements helped the car shatter the Gotland Ring lap record, besting the Jesko Attack by 1.1 seconds during early shake-down testing.

Complementing its aero upgrades is a bespoke suspension setup featuring Triplex dampers, wider track-focused tires, and multi-layer carbon-ceramic brakes, ensuring exceptional grip and control.

Inside the Spear

The cabin reflects its track-day mission with bespoke racing seats, optional six-point harnesses, and a stripped-down center console.

Koenigsegg’s signature features like the SmartCluster display, Autoskin system, and inductive phone charging remain intact, ensuring daily usability with track-born DNA.

A Legacy-Driven Name

The name “Sadair’s Spear” honors Jesko von Koenigsegg’s favourite racehorse, a nod to Koenigsegg’s heritage and personal family history. It follows the tradition of naming models after figures who shaped the brand’s journey.
