The “Proton Saga Cross” is a rumoured product and not an official announcement
The Saga Cross is based on speculation that Proton might develop a crossover version of the Saga, potentially named “Saga Cross,” based on the new AMA platform.
While there is no prototype or confirmation from Proton management, concept images (rendered by local artist like the one shared here) and discussions suggest it could be a rugged, body-cladded version of the Saga, competing with vehicles like the Perodua Ativa, Honda WR-V, and Chery Tiggo Cross.

Please take note that the Saga Cross is right now not even a confirmed concept and instead it is just speculation stemming from rumours and fan speculation, not official Proton announcement.
The vehicle is rumoured to be built on Proton’s new AMA platform, which may also be used for a new Saga sedan, hatchback, and SUV which is also speculation.
Concept images depict rugged body cladding, skid plates, and X50-style taillights.

There’s no official confirmation from Proton about the existence or development of a “Saga Cross”.
Some suggest it could potentially replace the once popular Proton Iriz, which has been around since 2014. Remember the Iriz Crossover?
