Toyota Alphard Driver Crashes Into 3 Parked Cars In Melaka

Police are looking for the driver of a Toyota Alphard after hitting three cars parked on the roadside

Police are tracking down the driver of a Toyota Alphard MPV who lost control and crashed into three parked cars at Jalan Merdeka in Melaka Raya, here on Friday morning last week. Soon after this incident happened. footage of the incident went viral on social media which was captured by bystanders.

In the incident which happened at about 10.48am, closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed the luxury multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) being driven at high speed from the direction of Banda Hilir towards the Hatten Hotel before skidding to the left of the road.

Sources said the white luxury MPV (pictured below) then crashed into three cars, which was a Lexus NX, a Honda City and a Perodua Myvi, which were in the parking lot. 

Incidentally, Melaka Police Chief, Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar, confirmed the incident and announced that the case is being investigated under Regulation 10 LN 166/59 for skidding and hitting another vehicle in the parking lot.

“Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota Alphard has not yet come forward to file a police report to assist in the investigation,” he said.

“However, there were no drivers in the cars at the time of the incident but all the vehicles involved suffered damage. he added”.

Could this Toyota Alphard driver be a foreigner or even a driver with no valid driving license which might be the reason why he has run away from the scene.
