XPENG Now Works With Southeast Asia’s Largest EV Charging Operator, Charge Plus

XPENG Expands Asia Pacific Charging Network with Charge Plus Partnership

XPENG, a global leader in smart electric vehicles, has announced a major expansion of its fast-charging infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region. The move strengthens XPENG’s global network to over 2.4 million charging piles, supporting its flagship models like the G6, G9, and X9, all equipped with cutting-edge 800V ultra-fast charging capabilities.

Strategic Partnership with Charge Plus

The expansion comes through a strategic collaboration with Charge Plus, Southeast Asia’s largest public EV charging operator. This partnership gives XPENG access to more than 3,800 charging piles across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, fully connecting the north-south expressway network that stretches 5,000 km across five countries including Vietnam and Cambodia.

XPENG is now the first Chinese EV brand to partner with Charge Plus in the region, significantly boosting charging network density and offering owners seamless long-distance travel across Southeast Asia.

Co-Branded Charging Stations in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand

The first batch of XPENG & Charge Plus co-branded charging stations is already operational in key cities across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. These stations deliver up to 350 kW charging power, among the fastest available in the region.

XPENG owners will benefit from exclusive charging discounts, real-time charging status updates via the in-car display, and one-click navigation to stations. By the end of 2025, XPENG’s mobile app will also enable “drive-in, charge & go” functionality, with one-stop payment for added convenience.

Class-Leading Technology in the XPENG G6

The expansion coincides with the launch of the XPENG G6, built on the company’s next-generation 800V full-domain architecture. Equipped with a 5C Supercharging AI Battery, the G6 can charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes, outperforming most EV rivals. It also delivers a best-in-class energy consumption rate of 15.6 kWh/100 km, supported by XPENG’s pioneering LFP battery technology, which eliminates rare earth minerals.

Strengthening EV Adoption in Asia-Pacific

Through its growing charging infrastructure, XPENG is reinforcing its leadership in the EV market while making long-distance electric travel more practical and sustainable. The company’s vision is to provide “ultra-fast, high-quality, and intelligent” charging services to customers globally, bridging advanced technology with a superior user experience.

With this latest milestone, XPENG continues to accelerate the shift toward intelligent mobility and clean energy adoption across Southeast Asia and beyond.
