Alfa Romeo Returns to Malaysia with the Giulia Veloce and Stelvio Veloce.
After more than a decade away, Alfa Romeo has officially returned to Malaysian roads, bringing its Italian style, performance, and emotion back to the local automotive scene. The re-entry is led by DLSB Partners Sdn Bhd, an independent private distributor and member of Atlantis Motor Group.
The return marks a renewed focus on long-term customer support and satisfaction. Alfa Romeo Malaysia is set to open a new flagship 3S Centre (sales, service, and spare parts) called ‘Casa Alfa Romeo’ at Rhapsody Square, TREC Kuala Lumpur, which will serve as a hub for the ‘Alfisti’ community. New Models Debut: Giulia Veloce and Stelvio Veloce
The brand debuts with two celebrated modern models: the Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce. Both models embody the brand’s enduring philosophy of performance, beauty, and soul, and have been instrumental in Alfa Romeo’s modern renaissance. They carry the brand’s 115 years of heritage and racing DNA.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce: Performance Sedan
The Giulia Veloce is a modern heir to Alfa Romeo’s legendary sports saloons, distilling decades of motorsport and design heritage into a performance sedan defined by balance and dynamism.
- Engine: 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four, producing 280 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
- Transmission: 8-speed automatic, driving the rear wheels.
- Performance: 0-60km/h in 5.7 seconds, with a top speed limited to 240km/h.
- Features: Bespoke Alfa Link suspension, a near 50:50 weight distribution, extensive use of aluminium, and a quick-steering ratio (11.8:1). It also features full-LED Adaptive Matrix “3+3” headlights and a mechanical Q2 limited-slip differential.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce: Performance SUV
Named after the legendary Italian-Alpine pass, the Stelvio Veloce redefines the performance SUV, combining the soul of a sportscar with the versatility of a grand tourer.
- Engine and Transmission: Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 280hp engine and 8-speed transmission.
- Drivetrain: Features an intelligent Q4 all-wheel-drive system that seamlessly distributes power.
- Handling: It champions agility with a balanced 50:50 weight distribution, Alfa Link suspension, and extensive use of lightweight materials.
- Interior: The cabin offers premium leather upholstery, sculpted sport seats, and a spacious rear seating and flexible cargo area for practicality.
