NOVITEC FERRARI DAYTONA SP3 Looks Better Than The Factory Version
NOVITEC has just made one of the world’s most exclusive sports cars even more thrilling and more dynamic.
Owners with a very high bank balance can get NOVITEC to customize their SP3. This is the leading global tuning specialist for Ferrari cars.
The hand-finish production facility in Stetten in the Unterallgäu district gives the Daytona SP3 an even more thrilling design with calculated, professional surgical procedures. This includes an elaborately calibrated NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts.
This enables the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter twelve-cylinder engine to expel the spent gases more freely, resulting in a boost in output by 28 horsepower. This exhaust system is optionally also available with particularly heat-dissipating fine gold-plating.
Meanwhile, another custom development are the high-tech alloy wheels developed in cooperation with the American manufacturer Vossen. They are fitted on the car in a staggered combination of 20- and 21-inch diameter wheels.
Did you know that NOVITEC also offers tailoring the cockpit of the two-seater to the personal likings of the owner in every detail. To this end, the company crafts appointments from the finest leather and Alcantara with maximum precision.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is powered by the largest twelve-cylinder in the history of the sports car manufacturer from Maranello. To further optimize the performance of the 6.5-liter power plant, the engine specialists of NOVITEC developed a meticulously calibrated high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts. This system is fully thermally insulated,which also has a positive impact on heat build-up in the engine bay and thus on the power delivery as well. This effect can be further optimized with 999 fine gold-plating of the entire exhaust system.
The intelligent exhaust gas routing and the reduced exhaust back pressure boost peakpower by 20.6kW /28 hp. With an output of 638kW / 868hp, the tuned mid-engined car is even more lively and reacts more promptly still to gas pedal commands.
The NOVITEC sports exhaust for the Daytona SP3 is fitted with an electronically controlled sound management that enables varying the exhaust note from inside the cockpit. The spectrum ranges from decidedly subtle with the system closed to a V12 engine sound reminiscent of motor racing at high engine speeds and with the exhaust flaps open. TheNOVITEC high-performance exhaust system is combined with the stock tailpipes.
Wheels make the car and that is of course also true for one of the world’s most exclusive sports cars. The NOVITEC alloys, which are available for this vehicle in three different designs, are tailor-made for the wheel wells of the two-door car. The high-tech forged wheels are produced exclusively for the German tuner by Vossen in a multitude of colors and finish variants. The staggered combination of 20-inch and 21-inch rims on the front and rear axles places even greater emphasis on the wedge shape of the sports car with removable roof.
Interestingly, the NOVITEC NF10 wheels with five delicate twin spokes and hub cap in centerlock styling pictured in these photos offer an outstanding combination of strength and lightweight design. The NOVITEC NF10 rims of size 9.5Jx20 with 265/30 ZR 20 tires fill out the available space under the front wheel arches of the SP3 perfectly. At the rear, wheels of size 12.5Jx21 with345/30 ZR 21 tires provide superb traction.
