Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV Gains New Emerald Green Option

PRO-NET has officially added Emerald Green to the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV exterior colour palette.

The Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV has seen significant market momentum since its debut in early 2026, capturing strong consumer interest in the competitive plug-in hybrid segment. To build on this success, the brand has introduced a permanent new colour, Emerald Green, designed to complement the model’s modern design and electrified character.

Efficiency Through EM-i Advanced Hybrid Technology

Underpinning the e.MAS 7 PHEV is the advanced EM-i (Advanced Hybrid Technology), which features a 1.5-litre hybrid-dedicated engine paired with an 11-in-1 Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). This powertrain is engineered for maximum efficiency, offering:

  • Class-Leading Thermal Efficiency: The engine achieves up to 46.5% thermal efficiency, operating quietly to support fuel economy.
  • Power and Responsiveness: The system delivers 160 kW of power and 262 Nm of torque, providing effortless handling and strong acceleration.
  • Low Fuel Consumption: The vehicle can achieve fuel consumption as low as 4.3 litres per 100km.

The intelligent system automatically switches between EV, series hybrid, and parallel hybrid modes based on driving conditions. For daily commutes, the vehicle typically operates in EV mode, significantly reducing fuel costs.

Competitive Ownership Value

Priced at RM105,800 for the Prime variant, the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV is positioned as a practical and rewarding choice for Malaysian drivers. The brand highlights that the 10-year service cost for the model is expected to remain below RM8,000, making long-term maintenance comparable to a battery-electric vehicle rather than a traditional internal combustion car.

Customers interested in the new Emerald Green option can now place bookings via the official Proton e.MAS website or at any of the over 50 authorised dealerships nationwide. This rapidly expanding network ensures that sales support and after-sales services are accessible to owners in Central, Northern, Southern, and East Malaysia.
