Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has officially strengthened its footprint in the Klang Valley with the launch of its latest authorized dealership in Petaling Jaya.
In partnership with long-time dealer Palm Motor Sdn Bhd, the new Hyundai facility marks a major step toward HMY’s ambitious goal of reaching 25 outlets nationwide by the end of 2026.
The Malaysian automotive landscape continues to evolve as Hyundai Motor Malaysia officially opened the doors to its newest showroom on April 3, 2026. Located strategically in the heart of Petaling Jaya, the 4,200-sq-ft facility is designed to provide a “smart premium” customer experience, offering a modern and comfortable environment for visitors to explore the brand’s latest innovations.
A Full Hyundai Lineup Under One Roof
The Petaling Jaya outlet serves as a one-stop destination for enthusiasts and prospective buyers to get up close with Hyundai’s diverse range of vehicles. The showroom currently presents the brand’s full lineup, including:
- The SANTA FE: Hyundai’s flagship family SUV.
- The TUCSON: A versatile compact SUV.
- The STARIA: A premium MPV designed for both luxury and space.
To ensure a seamless experience, the facility is staffed by trained Hyundai personnel who provide professional product consultations and dedicated sales support.
Grand Launching Bonanza: Prizes and Handovers
To celebrate the opening, Hyundai and Palm Motor hosted a Grand Launching Bonanza. The event featured an exciting lucky draw with total prizes valued at up to RM10,000 for attendees and customers.
The ceremony also marked a historic moment for the new outlet with its first official customer handover. The vehicle, a Hyundai TUCSON 1.6T HEV, underscores the growing local demand for Hyundai’s hybrid and high-tech powertrain options.
