OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia has launched its nationwide consumer engagement initiative, the SHS GO! Tour, designed to showcase the everyday advantages of its Super Hybrid System (SHS).
Running from 4 September through 1 October 2026, the SHS GO! Tour will take OMODA | JAECOO’s Super Hybrid System on a four-week roadshow, touring key authorized dealerships across the Klang Valley. The initiative gives prospective buyers an up-close, hands-on opportunity to understand the engineering, energy efficiency, and high-output performance underpinning the brand’s expanding plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) lineup.
Currently featured in the JAECOO J7 PHEV and the flagship OMODA C9 PHEV, the Super Hybrid System is structured around three core pillars: Super Range, Super Power, and Super Efficiency.
The Three Core Pillars of Super Hybrid System (SHS)
Rather than treating hybrid drivetrains merely as compliance exercises, the SHS platform is engineered to resolve common electric vehicle anxieties while elevating outright drivability:
- Super Range: Combines an internal combustion engine, large-capacity battery, and high-efficiency electric motors to dramatically cut down fuel stops. The JAECOO J7 PHEV delivers up to 1,300 km of total combined driving range, offering cross-country touring freedom without dependency on charging stops.
- Super Power: Instantaneous torque delivery from high-output electric motors provides sports car acceleration. In the flagship OMODA C9 PHEV, the system produces rapid response, completing the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 4.9 seconds.
- Super Efficiency: Employs intelligent energy management algorithms that dynamically switch between pure electric drive, series hybrid power, and parallel engine modes. This maximizes energy recapture and lowers fuel consumption during stop-and-go city traffic without blunting highway passing speed.

The SHS GO! Tour is moving across four primary OMODA | JAECOO dealership touchpoints in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur throughout September:

Visitors attending each stop can participate in guided product walkarounds, examine technical displays illustrating real-world hybrid operation, and arrange test drives to experience the transitions between pure EV gliding and full hybrid acceleration firsthand.
