One of Yamaha’s top-selling kapcais, the 135LC, has been refreshed for the year 2017 with new colours and graphics, namely blue, black, red and silver.
The bike is now available at all authorised Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) dealerships with a price of RM7,167.72 including GST (without road tax, registration and insurance).
The 135LC is powered by a liquid-cooled 134 cc engine that churns out 11.98 hp at 8,500 rpm and 11.79 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Channeling the output to the rear wheel is a four-speed transmission with a wet multi-plate clutch.
As opposed to the Y15ZR, which is equipped with discs brakes at both ends, the 135LC gets a single disc up front and a drum brake at the rear. It rides on 70/90 – 17 (front) and 80/90 – 17 (rear) tyres.
