Honda CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X Refreshed for 2018
Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has updated the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X with new graphics and colour options for 2018.
The sports bike CBR500R is now available in Pearl Metalloid White, Standard Grand Prix Red and Graphite Black, while the naked CB500F can be had in Force Silver Metallic, Candy Chromosphere Red and Candy Caribbean Blue Sea. The CB500X comes with the same colour options as the CB500F except that it is available in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic instead of Candy Caribbean Blue Sea.
Powering all three variants is a 471 cc parallel twin engine that churns out 49.6 hp at 8,500 rpm and 44 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. A six-speed transmission channels the output to the rear wheel. The bikes are also equipped with telescopic front forks and Pro-link rear suspension.
The CBR500R is priced at RM31,681 for the standard version and RM35,179 with ABS, while the CB500F goes for RM31,363 (standard) and RM34,861 (ABS). The CB500X is the costliest of the three with a price of RM31,893 (standard) and RM35,391 (ABS).
