Since GE14 results ZERO car sales……No sales at all!
Yes, there has been zero car sales from all car brands since the recent elections results were announced. We have meet with a number of leading car brands and some of them are still having good showroom activity, others have fallen silent as Malaysians are walking away without signing the booking form as they wait for the abolishment of GST……which moves each car purchase price.
Meanwhile car showrooms around the country are having a tough time paying overheads and keeping sales people calm. The change has come but the GST decision affects many…not just the car industry. Most of the retail industry is also in a standstill as consumers wait for the abolishment of GST.
