THE VW branding is growing at an accelerated rate in Malaysia where it is not common to spot 5-10 very new VW cars on Klang Valley roads on a daily drive to and fro work. This huge facility takes up some 47,300 square feet on three floors.
Housing a large beautiful display showroom of 7,000 square feet latest VW cars sits on the ground floor. A level up has 8,300 square feet of office on the 1st floor and in the basement it has a 19,000 square feet workshop area equipped with the latest equipment to ensure that all new and previous model Volkswagens are catered for, whether under warranty or not. There is also a spare parts store that carries detailed spare parts ready to tackle any problems that VW owners, new and old might face.
We managed to interview and have a chat with the Executive Director of this impressive center at his flagship office in TTDI. The 33-year-old Mr. Eddie Chai has committed a significant amount of investment to ensure this VW TTDI carries the brand image and recognition to the next level. He has installed a 13,000 square feet stock storage on the 2nd floor which relates to about 80 cars in order to have his customers cars kept in the best possible way before delivery is made. Being indoors unlike many other car dealers where their stock yard is open air, VW TTDI customers can be ensured of taking delivery of a new car that has been well taken cared of prior to delivery.
