Porsche 911 named the most reliable sports car
J.D. Power and Associates has given the Porsche 911 the award for being the most reliable sports car in the world. Not surprising as it is German and a Porsche. The VDS (Vehicle Dependability Study 2011) analyzed vehicles registered between September 2007 and February 2008. More than 43,700 American car owners were involved in the poll. They voted Porsche the best German car manufacturer.At the same time J.D. Power had praise for production quality, citing the main Porsche plant in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen as the best car factory in the world.
Dr. Stefan Knirsch, Director Corporate Quality at Porsche said: “These results confirm our rigorous focus on the very highest quality throughout the entire process chain.”At Porsche we are never satisfied with our achievements. Traditionally we have always striven to become even better.”
