Before these social media accounts went live, Arcfox’s global website already listed Malaysia as one of its top priority regional markets for its global expansion.

While specific pricing and official launch dates are still pending, Arcfox’s global website lists four primary models slated for international markets that are highly likely to arrive in Malaysia.

The Arcfox S5, also known as the Alpha S5 in China, is a sedan measuring 4,820mm in length, 1,930mm in width and 1,480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900mm. It is equipped with a 74.4kWh LFP battery, which can be recharged from 30% to 80% using DC fast charging in 1 hour six minutes.

Among the crossover models, the T1 is a compact model measuring 4,337mm in length, 1,860mm in width and 1,572mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770mm. The T5 is a mid-sized crossover measuring 4,690mm in length, 1,936mm in width and 1,650mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845mm. It has a ground clearance of 156 mm. In China, it is equipped with a 79.2 kWh ternary NMC battery that can be recharged from 30% to 80% in 18 minutes. The battery powers a single front-mounted electric motor producing 200kW (272PS) and 360Nm. The model has a claimed 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 180km/h.

The Arcfox line-up also includes the Kaola S, a five-seat SUV featuring a sliding rear passenger door on the passenger side to provide access to the cabin. Images on the company’s website show that the rear passenger door on the driver’s side uses a conventional hinged design.

It measures 4,500mm in length, 1,870mm in width and 1,655mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820mm. It has a step-in height of 340mm. According to Arcfox, the vehicle has a total of 29 storage compartments throughout the cabin.

Malaysians will be looking forward to this new EV brand arrival and its future success like Neta and BAIC is assured with the established distributor/importer.
