Audi TT RS Plus to get 380 hp from the same 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine

Audi has decided to offer two new versions of the TT RS in Europe in 2012. This will be the TT RS Plus road car and a factory-prepared TT RS race car. This TT RS Plus is an update to the current TT RS. It produces 380 hp, features dropped rear seats, and is lighter by around 132 pounds. The power upgrade is meant to position the European TT RS in line with the car offered in the U.S. which is boosting more power and torque. The TT RS had its launching after the debut of the hot coupe in Europe. That’s why its engine had already been modified. Presently, the car’s rating is 25 hp more at 360 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque in the U.S. but its output is just 335 hp and 332 lb-ft in Europe. The TT RS Plus received some mild engine updates just so it could be comparable to Europe’s car.
