0BMW M6 For 2012 On The Way.
Rumors have it that the all new BMW M6 will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in early March 2012. However an earlier public debut is just weeks away and we have the teaser pictures here. The M6 is believed to be getting a sportier suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes and lightweight alloy wheels while the same 4.4-liter V8 engine from the M5 gives the coupe and convertible 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque that is mated a 7-speed M DCT transmission system. This setup will enable the M6 to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100kph) in 4.2 seconds. Assuming we are talking about the coupe, this is 0.2 seconds quicker than its predecessor and suggests the convertible will achieve a time of around 4.5 seconds.
