0Citroen DS4 Racing Concept Coming To Geneva Motor Show
The multi award winning Citroen DS4 now gets a even more aggressive makeover with sportier intentions. The engineers of Citroën Racing have brought their experience in the WRC into the Citroën DS4, adding their unique contribution to develop the new concept. The DS4 Racing concept utilizes new carbon fiber components such as a front splitter, wheel arch extensions and air diffuser. The Citroën Racing-developed 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine delivers a maximum of 256bhp (or 160bhp per liter). This is a record figure for a Citroën series production vehicle. The engineers of Citroën Racing have adjusted the running gear and chassis with the highest precision. The track widened by 75mm at the back and by 55mm at the front. The chassis has been lowered by 35mm.
The braking system features fixed four-piston calipers at the front and comes with special 380mm-diameter discs. The concept also comes with 235/40 tires and diameter 19-inch wheels. The DS4 Racing concept boasts of a textured-effect matt grey paint, which further enhance the lines of the automobile when light shines upon it. The color is modern and stylish; thus, it is perfect for a sports vehicle. Other exterior enhancements are the two-tone wheels with a special DS4 Racing design and a two-tone roof. Now we just have to wait for Brooklands Motors to launch this car here in Malaysia.
