Porsche Wants Mercedes E-Class Market
Porsche is enjoying impressive sales of the Cayenne and Panamera but want more, Now Porsche management wants a slice of the executive segment, a segment they have never had a product. They have now decided to produce a new smaller version of the four-door Panamera to compete directly with the Mercedes CLS and also with the E-Class. Porsche CEO Matthias Mueller hinted to German press that this new model will help the company to achieve its goal of increasing annual sales to 200,000 vehicles.
