Honda’s New Accord Breaks Cover_This is the 2013 Model

This is the first photos with the all-new 2013 Accord Sedan and Coupe. According to the official press release, the new Accord is the most sculpted ever and promises to deliver more space for the passengers. As you can see from the photos, the new car features a brand new grille as well as a new strong side character line that flows through the door handles and flares upward toward the rear of the vehicle. The rear of the vehicle shows an athletic stance. The new styling includes some important engineering tricks. The windshield wipers are flush, and the windshield is nearly flush. This, along with an under-body tray, should make the 2013 Accord more aerodynamic and help save fuel.

On the inside this ninth-generation Accord will be equipped  with a smart interior packaging that increases increased passenger and cargo space in both the sedan and the coupe. The 2013 Accord will debut ingenious new available features, such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and the Honda-exclusive LaneWatch™ blind spot display. The new Accord also introduces HondaLink™, a cloud-based system that connects you to Bluetooth® Streaming Audio and SMS text message function and all your favorite digital content without hassling with your mobile phone. The available Aha™feature on HondaLink gives you access to personalized restaurant searches, Facebook audio feeds, audiobooks and more via the audio system interface and voice recognition. The 2013 Accord will also feature a new plug-in hybrid model. In the past, Honda has focused on making hybrids cheaper and sportier with mixed success; this Accord hybrid should be all about fuel economy. The plug-in will have an electric-only range of 10 to 15 miles, and a battery-powered top speed of 62 mph.

More details to be revealed later this quarter.
