Confirmation has just arrived from the Mercedes AMG Petronas team that, Lewis Hamilton will be driving for the Mercedes Formula One team to replace seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher. Hamilton’s 14-year career was with McLaren. Still, the transfer has been expected, considering his recent disputes with the McLaren team. For the next three years, Hamilton will drive for Mercedes where he aims to win the world championship again. The last time that he won was in 2008. He has expressed confidence that he can give Mercedes world championships in Formula One. Hamilton describes this as a “fresh challenge” and as a “new chapter” in his life. He said that he shares a passion for winning with Mercedes-Benz, which he applauded for its motorsport heritage.
