The successful graduates received their certificates and will be offered employment as assistant mechanic with Perodua after completing an interview session. Perodua has spent almost RM3.5 million since the programme was introduced in 1999 and has produced over 400 PYTP graduates. At the same event, Perodua also awarded scholarship totalling up to RM250,000 to 6 scholars who are currently pursuing their respective undergraduate studies in their respective local universities based on their academic and extracurricular achievements, communication skills, maturity as well as access to financial support.
