AUDI DOMINATEs LeMans TEST DAY and DUVAL SETS FASTEST TIME IN CLOSING SECONDS.

Toyota were relegated to the 4th and 6th place on the overall timesheet, more than two seconds behind Audi. Between the Japanese prototypes was the latest Audi, the No. 4 driven by Bonanomi, who was here to test tyres for 2014. In private teams, the best time went to the Lola B12/60 Coupe Toyota Rebellion Racing No. 12.

In LM P2, the Alpine-Nissan occupies the top spot again with 36 (3’39” 642), beating the Oreca Nissan Drive G Racing No. 26 and the first of Morgan Nissan, the No. 24 Olivier Pla.

In their centenary year, Aston Martin continued to dominate with the best time in both GTE Pro and GTE Am. In the Pro class the No. 97 of Dumbreck, Mucke and Turner set the fastest time, followed by the No.99 of Bell, Makowieki and Senna. In the Am class, the No. 96 Aston Martin V8 Vantage was the fastest followed by the sister car of Poulsen-Somonsen-Nygaard ahead of the Porsche 911 No. 77 of Patrick Dempsey.

There were two red flags during the last 4 hours of the session. The first was due to the the Ferrari F458 Italia No.51 driven by Fisichella and the second was due to an accident for the Lola T128 # 32 Dominik Kraihamer. No drivers were harmed in this incident.
