SIC In JV with Pacific Project Management to promote Merdeka Millenium Endurance Race this August 31st

SIC is pleased to announce an innovative co-operation with Pacific Project Management to further promote and develop the Iconic Merdeka Millenium  Endurance Race  held in late August at the Sepang International F1 circuit.
PPM has been formed by a group of Motorsport professionals led by Ian Ross Geekie, who has a wealth of motor racing experience in various capacities throughout  Asia over the past years, together with Han Wey Tong and his brother Andrew Tong who have together been very active and successful in the local motorsport scene. Their specific goal is that, together with SIC, they will build on the past success and reputation of the famous 12 hour endurance race and take it forward to a new level of local and International recognition to make it the leading endurance race event in the region.
This year’s race will feature a midnight start, a unique feature in endurance racing that creates a very special atmosphere for the teams and fans alike. Combining this with the tough conditions in the heat of the day make the MMER one of the most challenging endurance races anywhere in the world. A true test of man and machine.

The introduction of some new categories and a revised qualifying format will further enhance the appeal of the event and together with a large number of top class support races it will offer the fans a fantastic spectacle of first rate motorsport.
SIC is looking forward to working with PPM to make the 2013 the best MMER yet and to continue to improve and develop the event in the years to come. Look forward to seeing you all at the track for this years MMER.
