Your car is STOLEN! What now?

Your car is more than just a car. Think about it. It transports you easily (minus the traffic jams) to wherever you want to go; be it to work, sending your kids to school, running errand or to just to go and hang out with friends. Most importantly, it is much needed during times of emergency. But what do you when suddenly your car gets stolen?
If you have a satellite system in the car, the first thing to do is to call your service provider to track the car. If you do not have a satellite system, then you need to walk straight into the nearest police station and lodge a report. After you have done that, call your insurer and notify them of the lost.  If you are an Allianz customer, you can call 1-300-88-1028 or your servicing agent.

The customer service representative or agent will inform you on the next steps, which are as below:

Download the ‘Claim for Motor Insurance Form’ from Allianz Malaysia’s website at this link: https://www.allianz.com.my/web/lna/10024/10023 , print it and fill it up
Provide a copy of the police report and the claims form to your servicing agent or to the nearest Allianz branch

After this is done, Allianz will assess the claim and if an adjuster is not needed to investigate the case further, Allianz will offer a settlement letter to the resolve the claim for you. You will get this letter within 60 days, however, the faster you provide the above two documents, the faster your claim will be settled.
If you have any enquiries, do call the above number or email to [email protected]
