0Nissan Almera Compact Hatchback 2014
This is the all new Nissan hatchback will be revealed in the third quarter of 2014, making its in-the-metal debut at the Paris motor show in October. Nissan plans to target buyers of the popular Ford Focus and VW Golf. This is rather ambitious for Nissan who in recent years have not managed to release to even release one exciting vehicle. Nissan have instead launched boring yet reliable and simple vehicle to cater to the family segment.
Styling cues will likely mirror the Resonance concept – expect an eye-catching styling swipe along the car’s doors, and angular C-shaped headlights that wrap around the main front grille, with a large Nissan badge front-and-centre, as per the all new X-Trail. Nissan’s Barcelona plant will handle Almera production – the new hatch will be exported across Europe first before hitting Asia Pacific.
