0Chevron-Bosch Partnership Launches First Bosch Car Service Workshop at Caltex® Jalan Pudu
Drivers in Kuala Lumpur will have another reason to enjoy their journey with the first Bosch Car Service workshop in Malaysia at a Caltex service station, which opens today at Jalan Pudu. Chevron, a leading integrated energy company which markets fuel and lubricants products under the Caltex brand, and Bosch, a leading global supplier of automotive parts and diagnostic equipment, have come together to offer motorists a one-stop solution for all of their motoring needs.
In July 2013, Singapore was the first to launch Southeast Asia’s first Bosch Car Service workshop at Caltex East Coast. Now making its way to Malaysia, the workshop will offer quality automotive parts and the latest state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and workshop software ESI[tronic] by Bosch, which is linked to an extensive database that can identify up to 90% of all car makes and models across Asia Pacific. Staffed with mechanics trained in the latest developments in automotive technology by Bosch experts, the workshop will also undergo regular service quality audits to ensure that it meets Bosch’s stringent international service standards, as with all Bosch Car Service workshops.
“At Caltex, we are constantly looking for ways to meet the changing lifestyle needs of motorists. We see a typical service station evolving into a one-stop shop for motorists’ car care needs. Our partnership with Bosch provides assurance and convenience to customers that they can go to a Caltex station for more complex car repairs, providing motorists with the added premium services that will help them to truly enjoy their journey,” said Jeremy Oh, Country Chairman of Chevron Malaysia Limited. “We look forward to this collaboration with Bosch as the start of a mutually beneficial partnership. This increasing expertise of workshops at Caltex stations will expand our service offerings to customers.”
“With the rising cost of living, we understand that Malaysian drivers are seeking quality car repairs and services at affordable prices. Bosch offers advanced competencies in diagnostics to improve the accuracy in identifying faults within a vehicle, thus enabling technicians to make more well-informed repair work,” said Mr. Michael Goh, Director of Sales ASEAN West Zone of Bosch. “Bosch Car Service is capable of serving a vast majority of car makes and models. We are confident that motorists will appreciate the availability of quality automotive maintenance and repair solutions coupled with the accessibility of Caltex service stations.”
Customers will benefit from a wide range of car diagnosis and repair services. Caltex Lubricants and Bosch Automotive parts will also be sold at Caltex service stations, where Bosch Car Service workshops are located.
As part of its launch, the Bosch Car Service workshop will be offering a 10% discount on all Havoline® or Delo® purchases. In addition, the first 50 customers that purchase Havoline or Delo with a Bosch Filter will receive a free limited edition insulated food container.
This collaboration will see Bosch and Chevron working together to house more Bosch Car Service workshops and service points at Caltex stations across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Cambodia over the next four years. Customers can visit Malaysia’s first such workshop under this partnership at Caltex service station, located at Lot 304 & 307, Seksyen 52, Jalan Pudu, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
