Volkswagen Golf Gets MTM Tuning
Here is a tuned Golf to chase down supercars on the highway. MTM’s latest offering is a mildly tuned Volkswagen Mk7 Golf in R flavor, which offers 60 horsepower and 70 Nm over the standard R’s 300 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque.
As for the “incredibly fast road machines” part, MTM’s newest model accelerates 0.7 seconds faster than the factory Golf R fitted with the DSG double-clutch gearbox.
The 0 – 100 km/h run is achievable in just 4.2 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h (155 mph), the same as the standard model. These stats are possible thanks to a MTM M-Cantronic ECU unit.
