Ford Opens NEW 3S Centre in Juru Auto City
Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the sole distributor of Ford in Malaysia has just opened a new 3S Centre in Auto City Prai, Penang. Located at the popular motoring hub, Auto City, along the North – South Highway Juru Interchange, the new facility is also part of Ford’s continued dealer network expansion and customer service enhancement in Malaysia. Ford now has 48 dealer locations nationwide that offer both sales and service, with a target of reaching 50 dealer locations within this year.
Operated by SDAC, this new 3S Centre is equipped with Ford’s standard corporate identity which includes a showroom, service centre and spare parts department.
“SDAC is committed to further enhance the Ford dealer network to support the expanding line-up of Ford vehicles in Malaysia. This new facility supports our on-going efforts to improve customer service offerings to a growing base of customers on the island as well as the mainland,” said Lee Eu San, Managing Director of Sime Darby Auto Connexion.
The new Ford 3S Centre showcases a range of Ford’s global vehicles available in Malaysia, which include the new Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost and 1.5L variants, Kuga, Focus and Ranger. The facility features a showroom that can display up to five cars and is open seven days a week. There is also a comfortable, user-friendly lounge with free Wi-Fi, TV and other amenities that ensure comfort and convenience for customers. The adjacent service centre, which is open six days a week, has four service bays and is equipped with the latest Ford diagnostic tools, as well as staffed by Ford-trained technicians.
“The opening of this new facility underlines the shared commitment that SDAC and Ford has towards customer service enhancements in Malaysia as we continue to expand our showrooms with a series of high-tech, fuel efficient and value-for-money products,” said Veemala Rethinasamy, Sales and Marketing Director, Malaysia, Ford Motor Company.
This new facility is part of an on-going effort by SDAC and Ford to upgrade existing Ford dealer showrooms, in addition to expanding the dealer network, which will provide complete coverage nationwide and customer convenience.
Fiesta 1.0L Urban Playground in Penang
Meanwhile, the Ford 3S Centre operated by Airmas Auto Sdn Bhd located at 180, Jalan Jelutong on the island will be participating in the Ford ‘Fiesta 1.0L Urban Playground’ experiential tour in support of the recently launched Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost.
On 7-8 June, visitors to the Airmas Auto facility can test drive the new Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost to experience its best-in-class power and performance, superior handling and acceleration. This leg in Penang will be the last Urban Playground in the northern region and should not be missed.
