Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona 2015 Update 7 Hours, Ford EcoBoost Leads
Ganassi Racing, car No. 01 leads at the seven-hour mark of the Rolex 24 Hours. Scott Pruett, seeking a record sixth Rolex 24 at Daytona win, is a co-driver on the current leader at the seven-hour mark of this year’s race. His teammates on the Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates ride are Sage Karam, Joey Hand and Charlie Kimball.“It’s been pretty easy,” Hand said. “I’m really proud to be part of this Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates, Ford-powered team.
I’ve been here a bunch of times with these guys, so it’s easy to just slide back in and as I say, get comfy. It’s been a good week. We had our ups and downs but we got the car right for the race, which is really the important part, so we can just go out there and run laps. It’s nice when you’re out in front, you can set the pace.”
