Porsche has began to sell the Black Edition of its current 911 Carrera, which is fitting, seeing as the 2016 911 is just around the corner.

Though builds on the entry level 911 Carrera, being the final edition for this year’s model the cars will be fitted with a whole range of goodies by default.

This includes the awesome looking Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), 20″ wheels that you normally find on the 911 Turbo models, heated sports seats, Bose surround sound system, Park Assist with a rear camera and Porsche Communication Management with navigation.

There are a few other features like rain sensing wipers and a Sport Design steering but once you’re in the car, the biggest highlight will be the black-on-alloy theme. It’s extremely eye-catching with the only hints of colour coming from the red dials and the actual Porsche badge on the steering.

The 911 Black Edition will be sold in both coupe and cabriolet body styles and buyers will get to decide if they want the car in a rear- or all-wheel drive configuration. Colour choices are limited to just black though, but that you could have guessed.

The 911 Carrera Black Edition is available in Europe for €95,058 when configured for a RWD coupe and peaks at   €111,956 for those who want an open top all-wheel drive model. If the pictures aren’t enough they’ve even released a short video promo for the car.
