Ford Motor Company on Fortune’s Blue Ribbon List for 2015
Fortune has named Ford Motor Company as one of its 2015 blue ribbon companies, a ranking of the best organizations that are operating well and showing good progress, and have been recognized on four or more Fortune lists in 2015.
Ford — the only automaker on the Blue Ribbon list — has appeared on four Fortune lists this year: Ford was No. 42 on Change the World, No. 27 on the Global 500; No. 9 on the Fortune 500; and No. 6 in the motor vehicles industry on the list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. This year’s Blue Ribbon Companies ranking is comprised of 25 companies — the most in any year.
