Lykan Hypersport Designer Wants to Create This RWD Roadster
We all remember the W Motors Lykan Hypersport from Furious 7 and the recently announced Fenyr Supersport. Now it seems the design force behind the endeavour, Anthony Jannarelly is up to something more personal. He recently initiated a startup of his own, Jannarelly Automotive and has announced ‘Design-1’ as its first project.
The 2-seat roadster is expected to be produced in April 2016 with Janarelly’s business partner, Equation Composite, who fabricate carbon fibre panels. The Design-1 will rock a 3.5-litre V6 with over 300 hp and 370 Nm of torque. This power will be sent to the rear through a six speed manual transmission.
Given its carbon fibre construction, estimates indicate a kerb weight of just over 700kg. Expect a prototype and realistic figures out in February.
